Return & Refund Policy
1. Firearms Sales – All Sales Are Final
All firearm sales are final and non-returnable once the firearm has been transferred to the buyer by the receiving Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer, has been removed from the packaging, and fired. However, there are exceptions listed in this policy.
Before Completing Your Purchase:
- Verify Compliance – It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure they comply with all federal, state, and local firearm laws before purchasing.
- Inspect Upon Transfer – When picking up a firearm from your FFL dealer, carefully inspect it before accepting the transfer. If the firearm is defective, damaged, or incorrect, do not complete the transfer.
- No Post-Transfer Returns – Once a firearm is transferred, it falls under the manufacturer’s warranty, and any issues must be handled directly with the manufacturer.
If Your Firearm is Defective or Damaged:
- Contact us immediately at povertycreekfirearms@gmail.com so we can coordinate a return, exchange, or warranty claim.
- If you accept the transfer and later discover a defect, you may contact the manufacturer for warranty service or contact us to coordinate repair or replacement.
2. Order Cancellations & Changes
We strive to process orders as quickly as possible. Once an order is placed, modifications and cancellations are limited.
Firearm Orders:
- Firearm orders cannot be canceled once shipped or after the transfer has been completed.
- Orders canceled before shipment may be subject to a 15% restocking fee to cover administrative costs.
Non-Firearm Orders (Accessories, Parts, Optics, etc.):
- If your order has not shipped, you may request a cancellation or change.
- Once an order has shipped, it is subject to our standard return policy below.
Special Orders & Custom Firearms:
- Special order items, custom firearms such as engraved or re-finished, or special import requests cannot be canceled or returned once the order is placed and/or custom work has begun.
3. Non-Firearm Returns (Accessories, Optics, Parts, etc.)
We accept returns on eligible non-firearm products within 30 days of delivery, provided they meet the following criteria:
Eligible Items:
- The item must be new, unused, and in its original packaging.
- All original accessories, manuals, and documentation must be included.
- The item must be free from signs of installation, modification, or use.
Ineligible Items:
- Ammunition – For safety reasons, all ammunition sales are final. Please verify compatibility before purchase.
- Used or Installed Products – Items that show signs of use, installation, or modification cannot be returned.
Restocking Fees & Return Shipping:
- A 15% restocking fee may apply to certain returns.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., incorrect item shipped) or damaged during shipping.
4. Return Process
To return an eligible item, follow these steps:
- Request a Return Authorization (RMA) Number:
- Contact our Customer Support at povertycreekfirearms@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return.
- We will provide an RMA number and return shipping instructions.
- Package the Item Securely:
- Use the original packaging whenever possible.
- Include a copy of your invoice and the RMA number inside the package.
- Ship the Item to the Return Address Provided:
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service with insurance, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged returns.
- Refund Processing:
- Once we receive and inspect the item, a refund will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days, minus any applicable restocking fees.
5. Damaged or Incorrect Shipments
If you receive an incorrect or damaged item, contact us within 5 days of delivery at povertycreekfirearms@gmail.com. We will provide instructions for returning the item and arrange a replacement at no additional cost.
6. Warranty Claims
Most firearm manufacturers provide a factory warranty. If you experience an issue after the transfer, contact the manufacturer directly for repair or replacement under their warranty program.
